Keri Wootton, CWP -- President/Senior Event Planner

My name is Keri Wootton, CWP and I was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved at a young age to Los Angeles California. I began my career as an event planner in Los Angeles, as a teenager working for my father’s Association Event Management Company. During this time I was able to work on events such as Kodak’s 100^th anniversary balloon fest attended by over one hundred thousand people in Chicago, Illinois and many other large-scale events.  This laid the foundation for my passion for the event industry.

I worked for my father’s company through college and then met my future husband whose job took us to Dallas, Texas where I continued doing event planning.

I then moved to Austin seven years ago and fell in love with this city. I went to work for a local software company doing marketing events and then went to work for the Jewish Community Association of Austin as their Director of Hospitality & Events.  In this position I managed an average of five thousand events set up’s annually for 5 years with a hiatus in the middle to have a wonderful son and be a full time mom for a while.   I was   in fact at work decorating for someone’s wedding reception the night before my son was born and on the phone from the hospital with my assistant to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch.  Now that is dedication!
