Shelley, Kristen and Erica were available for every detail of our wedding planning that grew in size & changed logistically due to weather conditions within 24 hours of our ceremony time. The entire team handled our event with complete professionalism, creativity, flawless execution of many items and pure class. Our vendors told us after the wedding they had never worked with such great wedding planners who made it easy ( they said most coordinators have attitudes and LTDTM were so pleasant ). Our guests even noticed how on point the entire event went and made certain to tell us when we returned from our honeymoon. This is precisely why we chose LTDTM, upon speaking with Shelley we could see how articulate, poised and detailed she was. We knew that with the chaos of a wedding we needed a planner who would execute our vision which she and her team did beyond our dreams. In the planning process we had several unexpected vendor/venue issues arise and LTDTM team stepped in to handle despite us already having our planning meetings. The entire team went above and beyond... they even did a little handle holding under the stress of planning & text me pictures of set up as I was getting ready for the wedding. I was so impressed with every encounter from these ladies I plan to book their services for the next big event I host!

I'm Glad I Left the Details to Them

       Shelley and Kristen, We want to thank you ladies for all of the hard work you put into our wedding. Every time we turned around, one or the other of you were checking to make sure everything was all right and were there to offer any kind of assistance necessary. The main ballroom looked elegant and beautiful, thanks to your skillful arrangement of the vases, candles, and flowers. You told me ahead of time, it would look fabulous and you were right. The little sitting area looked great, with the special pillow on the couch and the photo booth worked well in the upstairs space. It wasn’t hidden from down below, so people knew something special was happening upstairs. (Loved that you added your pictures to the book because you were such an important part of our celebration.) What a great idea you had to display the quilt over the cart on the terrace! People were gathered around it all night and many were taking pictures of their own square on the quilt. I know it was a challenge keeping us on schedule, but you worked with a patient and calm exterior trying to move the festivities along. And both of you were wonderful with the little flower girl and ring bearer. Most of all, thanks for serving as an advocate for us, when things didn’t go as planned. It was comforting to have the two of you there to troubleshoot. We absolutely could not have gotten through the day without you and feel lucky that you are a part of our lives!

Wedding. August 9, 2014. Private Residence.

OVERALL: Shelley jumped through hoops and leaped hurdles to meet with me and my daughter to coordinate the "Day Of" details of my daughter’s wedding (August 9, 2014). She is professional, calm, patient, fair, pleasant, creative, a good listener, kind, thorough and diligent. She is also a delightful person. Thank you Shelley!
 

DETAILS: Shelley helped with more than just "Day Of", she sent helpful links for ordering flowers, made suggestions for centerpieces to stay within budget. She worked with each vendor to create something beautiful and within my daughter's budget. I was also struck with how fair she was to both the vendors and clients (us), always working to hit a target that would benefit everyone. She had great advice for not only things to "do" but also things to "not worry about". Her prompt responses to e-mails and phone calls were most appreciated; with each response I felt the burden of that detail being lifted.

Wedding. May 10, 2014. Mercury Hall. 

Let’s face it, my wife and I can be a bit disorganized at times. Because of this, we were both quite anxious about all the planning required for pulling off a wedding. Luckily for us, our friend recommended the ladies of Leave the Details to Me for wedding planning services as she had used them previously. Working with Shelley was an absolute pleasure. Despite selecting “day of” planning services, Shelley and her wonderful assistant Kristen were available by email or phone whenever we had questions or concerns. This included meetings ahead of the event to check on our status and make sure we weren’t too liberally exercising our penchant for procrastination. Furthermore, Shelley has an eye for style and so many connections with such wonderful vendors that our floral arrangements and photography were perfect and easily scheduled while maintaining budget. When the big day finally arrived, Shelley and Kristen were there with everything under control. Set up, break down, and all scheduled times in between were met without a hitch. We received innumerable compliments from family and friends, not just on the wedding itself but on Shelley and Kristen as well. Just as we have been, everyone was amazed at how on the ball these two ladies were throughout the entire event. As the name implies, they took care of everything ensuring that the event was perfect and even taking the time to serve our Grandparents before the buffet opened up, a detail for which we are especially grateful. We cannot recommend Shelley and Leave the Details to Me enough, and I shudder to think how the event might have looked without them. Shelley and Kristen, we appreciate y’alls diligence, hard work, advice, and friendship. Thank you for helping us share this perfect day with our friends and family.

Most of all, thanks for serving as an advocate for us, when things didn’t go as planned. You took right over, seeing that the all white bouquet was changed up to be more like what Rebecca had wanted. And the situation with the catering would have been ten times worse if the two of you had not been there to troubleshoot. We absolutely could not have gotten through the day without you and feel lucky that you are a part of our lives!

From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you all for fulfilling the day I have dreamed about my entire life. Each of you stepped up in ways i already knew were professional and the best at what you do, but also incredible  people individually that truly made me smile when i saw each of you throughout the night.  My sincere gratitude to all and your teams for your/their time, dedication and especially patience with my organization.

Our guests told us over and over "you know how to throw a party"!  Chris and i could not have asked for a better wedding night.

My name is Azadeh Hamilton, a former client of Ms. Shelley Gay. My husband and I decided to hire a wedding coordinator because we knew that the expense of a planner is well worth the aggravation you'll avoid. Planning an exotic destination wedding can be quiet an undertaking especially for a bride with an already hectic schedule. I typically work around 60+ hours a week as an Administrative Law Judge with little or no time to spare for planning. 

Shelley and Kristen are two experienced, talented and incredibly knowledgeable wedding planners that got together and planned my Iranian/Christian destination wedding. They ensured all the loose ends were tied up, followed up with all vendors, and all this while I was blissfully ignorant and enjoying the most important day of my life.  

Shelley is extremely detail oriented, and very easy to communicate with. If you want your wedding day to run smoothly and exactly as planned she is, without a doubt, the person you need to hire. She truly cares about you and your day and she will do everything in her power to make it perfect. My wedding day was absolutely flawless and I know she is the one to thank.
